The strait is formed by the islands of Chuanbi or Chuenpee () and Aniangxie or Anunghoy (, also known as ; ''pinyin:'' Weiyuan) on the eastern side and Tycocktow (大角头; ''pinyin:'' Dajiaotou) on the western side.〔Bingham, J.
